Worst Signing in History: Frank Lampard

This week we have a interesting news based on the report by USAToday News, Frank Lampard has been named the worst signing of MLS history with a price of 6 million without any minutes played on the game, sounds funny right? Lampard has been a well known played for the past decade, formerly being in Chelsea and Manchester City as a midfielder. So how did this all begin? It first started in July 2014 where MLS announced that they would sign the Chelsea midfielder at the time, joining David Villa in the attacking force. However, on august 2014, it was announced that Lampard will be temporary on loan at Manchester City until the start of the MLS season. The story continues, as Lampard begin to play more for Manchester City, the manager of the club Manuel Pelligrini expresses interest in keeping the former Chelsea midfielder and that he "never" signed a contract with NYCFC. In August 2015, after a year, Lampard finally makes his debut performance in the club as a substitute. However, in the current season, Lampard has never played a minute, missing 10 consecutive games with a 'calf strain'.

So theres the story of Lampard, "A $6 million Designated Player managed to insult and lie to the team’s fans, miss half a season, underperform, and then launched a TV career while missing ten consecutive games. And that’s how you become the worst signing in MLS history."
